there was a no comment feature on the "off the list" entry, but i had to say this..
you did the right thing
you avoided a life of this scenarios' redundancy..
Here is where she went wrong:
1. the request should have remained private, no matter how small or big, she was almost entering a new life with you and anything that is discussed should have privileges, and stay private
2. Repeating a request. You say something, discuss it, then agree to disagree and drop it.. life has its battles, you win some, you loose some.

about my list, well i would'nt be happy if i end up with a woman who can't understand my needs. And believe me my list will change depending on the person i choose, i can sacrifice most of it if she can only understand me and what i want.
life is indeed all about surprises... some are sweet, some are bitter...
but all in all, it's one hell of a lovely ride!
and it's up to us, and only us, to make the most of it and seize every single opportunity that comes our way... and should we fail, all for the better next time around...
